I actually have a brand new CD that I"m dropping in two weeks time, called FAUX VOIX which is all either live vocal and electronic looping and processing or computer generated experiments with text to voice editors. It's all voice and fake voice (hence the name). I'm pretty proud of it and it
is a very unusual record.

And, Paul, to answer your question, No, I am a found and invented sound multi-instrumentalist. You would probably remember my performance at the first loopstock because I used black lights and played a lot of Translucent Dayglo Lime Green Plastic (which is the name of my last all live looping CD).

and yes, Hans Lindauer really deserves a lot of props for the hard work he has put in to promote looping. I was really sad that he didn't participate in this year's Y2K3 Live Looping Festival (which had 27 artists from all over the country; a headliner all the way from Wales, on 2 stages with continuous music for three days...............lol........we are actually approaching the size of Woodstock...........just minus the masses of people).

His performance at last year's festival (which had an amazing 48 loopers in 2 really long days) was just hilarious and wonderful, replete with costume changes (three of them in a 20 minute set!!) I miss Hans.

As a matter of fact, I think I'll e-mail him and try to seduce him to come join us here.

So listen, I'm only three hours north of you folks. If you want to put on an SLO one day electronic music festival, I'd feel priviliged to come down and be a guest artist at it.
I could probably also rope in one or two excellent artists from up this way if you folks wanted a thickening of the ranks.

Let's do it. Let's get a little SLO/Santa Cruz exchange thingee happening. :-)
